Ned Kelly

EMERGENCY services around WA are on high alert as Cyclone Isobel and a large cold front look set to combine to lash large swathes of the state early on Thursday. They had a very strong cold front go through last night producing rain through Perth, that’s then going to mix in with the remnants of Tropical Cyclone Isobel and in effect give the atmosphere a bit of a turbo charge and really fire it up during the course of tonight and tomorrow morning.
For the first time since Ned Kelly, New South Wales police are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of a man wanted for murder. They have placed a $50,000 bounty on Dubbo man Malcolm John Naden, who is suspected of strangling a woman at his home in June 2005. Normally rewards are only offered if information leads to a conviction, but police have taken this unusual step because Mr Naden has proved so elusive, despite various sightings, including one at Dubbo Zoo. Detective Superintendent Geoff Beresford says that is due to the suspect's bush skills and because he is getting help. *start sarcasm/ I wonder if I phone them and say hes in Australia still, would I be entitled to any of the reward. And hey hes part Aborigional I wonder if they have checked the pubs. And hey put a big sign out " free glue here" one never knows./end sarcasm*
I've been busy on nightshift this week which is turning me into a grouch.

Wedding on Cullipool beach

Ok I know you cant see the bride or the bridegroom or any of the guests in this photo but hey did you notice the cat ? the spectators watching the ceremony were joined by this cat who stared intently down to the beach, got me thinking maybe it had been a marriage celebrant in an earlier life.
The celebrant noticed that the bride was in great distress so asked her what was wrong. She replied that she was nervous and afraid she would not remember what to do. The celebrant told her that she only needed to remember 3 things. First the aisle, because that is what you'll be walking down. Secondly, the alter because that is where you will arrive. Finally, remember hymn because that is a type of song we will sing during the service. While the bride was walking to the wedding march, family and friends of the groom were horrified to hear her repeating these 3 words. . . Aisle, alter hymn
Did you get it ? I'll alter him.

The photo is an old bike decorated with balloons and ribbons to celebrate I'm going to hang some flags off our gate too.
A little boy, at a wedding looks at his mom and says, "Mommy, why does the girl wear white?"His mom replies, "The bride is in white because she's happy and this is the happiest day of her life."The boy thinks about this, and then says, "Well then, why is the boy wearing black"
